JUST LOOK AT THEM NOW!  If you are a preschool alumnus, or parent of one, let Preschool know where life has taken former preschool students. We’re gathering information to learn where “our kids” are now as part of the 40th birthday celebration of preschool, on Sunday, February 26, 2006.

BIBLE STUDY—BOOK of JOB   Eugene Peterson states in The Message:  “Job suffered. His name is synonymous with suffering. He asked, Why? Why me? And he put his questions to God.” Like Job, we suffer in health and in circumstances of family and friendships.  Like Job, we have ideas about God’s control.  Like Job, we hear friends’ opinions of why we suffer.  Rev. Leety leads exploration of Job, Sunday mornings 9-10, Jan. 29 – Feb. 26, 2006.

THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: The Lion, the Witch, and the WardrobeThe movie is showing in theatres.  Anticipating the film of C. S. Lewis’s book, publishers are releasing 170 books in 60 countries before Christmas.  Two years ago the Rev. Jack Watson led Overbrook’s Lent Series on C. S. Lewis.  Consider reading Mere Christianity, The Four Loves, The Screwtape Letters or giving them as gifts.
