BIBLE STUDY—BOOK of JOB   Eugene Peterson states in The Message:  “Job suffered. His name is synonymous with suffering. He asked, Why? Why me? And he put his questions to God.” Like Job, we suffer in health and in circumstances of family and friendships.  Like Job, we have ideas about God’s control.  Like Job, we hear friends’ opinions of why we suffer.  Rev. Leety leads exploration of Job, Sunday mornings 9-10, Jan. 29 – Feb. 26, 2006.

THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: The Lion, the Witch, and the WardrobeThe movie is currently showing in theatres. Anticipating the film of C. S. Lewis’s book, publishers are releasing 170 books in 60 countries before Christmas.  Consider reading Mere Christianity, The Four Loves, The Screwtape Letters or giving them as gifts.
