TODAY’S CONCERNED DEACON is Jo Ellen Huggins. Wearing a yellow carnation, she will be available in the Narthex to hear your concerns after the service. Stop by and say hello.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE - HELP SAVE A LIFE! Monday, September 12 from 6-12 p.m. is Overbrook’s time to help. Central Ohio Red Cross must collect 650 units of blood a day to support patient needs in 36 hospitals. One day a year Overbrook helps meet that need. Our goal is 40 units. Let’s meet the goal! Sign up in the church office or call the church (261-1040) to make an appointment.

STEPHEN MINISTRY TRAINING. For those who so graciously volunteered to be a Stephen Minister, the first class will be Monday, September 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the Conference Room.

BIBLE STUDY ON THE PARABLES begins tomorrow evening at 7:00 p.m. in Room 32. This will be a six week course led by Cheryl Hubbard. We hope that those with busy weekend activities can take advantage of this opportunity to study.

CIRCLE FOUR  meets Wednesday, September 14 at 9:30 a.m. in the church Parlor.

ADD A COUPLE II will go “Singing in September” on Friday, September 16. Meet at the church about 6:30 p.m. for a little “warm up” and then carpool to The Forum for an evening of singing. This will be old-time music that we all know. All are welcome to join us to help bring a few smiles and laughs to these folks.

“FOR EVERYTHING, A SEASON” The women of Overbrook and their friends are invited Saturday morning, September 17th at 10:00 a.m. in the Church Parlor for a friendly conversation with Rev. Linda McClanahan on the new Horizons study “For Everything, A Season.” Coffee and muffins will be served.
