LENT LEARNING SERIES STARTS IN MARCH. Have
you noticed the Lent Series poster in the Narthex? Ash Wednesday, March 1, will
be here before you know it. Last year’s series given by the late Dr. Walter
Bouman is a hard act to follow. However, O.S.U. Professor Dr. Sam Meier is a
master teacher, scholar and speaker as well. His topic, “The Messiah in the Old
Testament” promises to enhance our understanding of expectations of a Messiah
at different times in the story of God’s people. We need volunteers for setup,
soup making, cleanup and childcare. Check out the poster for details.
