CHILDREN’S BULLETINS are available for ages 3-6

NEW BEGINNINGS, a group for all singles, meets TODAY in the South Parlor immediately following the worship service, for a potluck luncheon. Even though you may have forgotten to prepare a dish, you are welcome to attend.
YOUTH FELLOWSHIP GOES BOWLING! We meet in the Narthex after the service,
around 11:45 a.m. to go bowling. We’re going to Mr. Bill’s near the Northern Lights

NEXT SUNDAY OVERBROOK PRESCHOOL CELEBRATES 40 YEARS! It will be a day of fun, celebration, reminiscence and more as our church and preschool families look back over 40 years of caring for the little children of our community. We will rejoice with songs, a walk through memory lane, and, of course, party fare.
SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER will be February 28 from 5:00 – 7:00

is for the purposes of reviewing annual reports, setting the terms of call of
the pastor, electing members to the Nominating Committee and nominating and
electing Deacons, and honoring Volunteers of the Year. Our Overbrook Fun Band will make a guest
appearance. Reservations for the lunch
are required and can be made by either calling the church office, marking
the friendship pads or e-mail to lellett@overbrookchurch.org
with the number attending.
DINNER GROUPS NOW FORMING FOR 2006. Groups will include six to nine members who will meet 3-4 times through the course of the year to share food, conversation, and friendship. Dinner groups provide a nice opportunity to get to know other Overbrook members.
LENT SERIES STARTS IN MARCH. Have
you noticed the Lent Series poster in the narthex? Ash Wednesday, March 1, will
be here before you know it. Last year’s series given by the late Dr. Walter
Bouman is a hard act to follow. However, O.S.U. Professor, Dr. Sam Meier is a
master teacher, scholar and speaker as well. His topic, “The Messiah in the Old
Testament” promises to enhance our understanding of how the Old Testament
describes the Messiah. We have our soup makers and setup & cleanup
volunteers lined up and Susie Belknap will have a program for children from
