FOR YOUR INFORMATION

 

CHILDREN’S BULLETINS are available for ages 3-6 and 7-12.  They contain fun, age- appropriate activities related to today’s worship.  The bulletins, along with pencils or crayons, can be found on the table in the Narthex, or by asking an usher for assistance.

 

TODAY’S CONCERNED DEACON is wearingaHHa  a yellow carnation, she will be available in the Narthex after worship to hear your concerns.

 

LISTENING ELDER FOR JANUARY will be available for listening in the Narthex after the worship service today. Feel welcome to convey to him any matter in our congregation’s life that you would like to have passed on to the Session.

 

THE 2006 FLOWER CHART is in the office, ready for members and friends of Overbrook to sign up to provide flowers on Sundays. The next two Sundays are open. 

 

INQUIRERS’ CLASS CONTINUES. Anyone interested in exploring Overbrook membership is welcome to join us. We meet at 9:00 a.m. in the Library. The classes end on February 5 at which time members will be welcomed into the congregation. A reception will follow the service.

 

4th NIGHT ACTIVITIES TONIGHT will include a Taize Worship Service at 6:30 p.m. followed by L.I.F.T. Groups. Rev. Linda McClanahan leads the Horizons Bible Study. The Faith and Fiction group will be discussing Booking Passage by Thomas Lynch.

 

MEN’S BREAKFAST GROUP meets this Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at Scottie McBean’s in Clintonville. All men are welcome.

MEDICARE D PRESENTATION THIS WEDNESDAY. The Wellness Committee is offering a program on Wednesday, January 25 at 1:00 p.m. There will be a presentation in Fellowship Hall along with individualized help. Please spread the word to others and bring a friend. Questions? Call Sue Mooney at 268-7207.

 

A REQUEST FROM OUR COORDINATOR OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH.  Are you looking to make room for all those new Christmas toys? We are currently collecting “Gently Used” toys and games to stock Room 204. From now on we will provide childcare during worship services in that room. We are looking for puzzles, games, blocks, etc. suitable for ages 3 thru 4th grade.
