FOR YOUR INFORMATION

TODAY’S CONCERNED DEACON wearing a yellow carnation, he will be available in the Narthex after worship to hear your concerns.

SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE CONTINUES through July 30. Morning Prayer begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Parlor, and regular Service for The Lord’s Day at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. The summer worship schedule in August is that we worship only at 10:30 a.m.

THE LISTENING ELDER FOR JULY will be available for listening in the Narthex after the worship service today. Feel welcome to convey to him any matter in our congregation’s life that you would like to have passed on to the Session.

FUN BAND REHEARSALS BEGIN TODAY! First of all, Sarah would like to thank all of you who have so graciously volunteered to play this year. Please meet in Fellowship Hall following worship from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. today and next Sunday. We will perform August 6th following the Neighborhood Network Lunch. This looks to be a real fun group. Any questions, or if you need an instrument, see Sarah Shaffer.

TONIGHT IS 4TH NIGHT TAIZE WORSHIP. This month the worship service will be in the Sanctuary beginning at 6:30 p.m. There are no LIFT Groups meeting in July.

THE MEN’S BREAKFAST GROUP meets this Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at Scottie MacBean in Clintonville. All men are welcome.

JOYTIME NEXT SUNDAY is the responsibility of the Mission Committee. Someone will meet the children at the Sanctuary doors following the Word with Children and take them to Room 101 for a bible lesson, craft and snack.

TRINITY LUNCHES NEXT WEEK – JULY 30 (a month with 5 Mondays) is the responsibility of the Board of Deacons. Meet in the downstairs kitchen to make sandwiches, bag cookies, chips and drinks into lunch sacks.

COOKIES ARE DESPERATELY NEEDED! Overbrook is responsible for the next two Trinity Lunches and we prepare 150 lunches each time. We put 3 cookies per bag and so consequently we will need 900 cookies (450 next week and 450 more the following week). If you so graciously make cookies, please put them in the downstairs freezer marked Trinity.

MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE UNTO THE LORD! Have you ever wanted to make that joyful noise in the choir? Well, now is your chance! On Sundays August 13, 20, 27 we will once again have summer choir. Anyone 7th grade on up is welcome. We practice on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and sing at 10:30 a.m. Come give it a try – one or all 3 Sundays.

NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK SUNDAY – AUGUST 6, 2006! By now you should have received a postcard from your Deacon. Please RSVP to your Deacon your regrets or attendance to Network Sunday as soon as possible so that we know how many to expect. There is a luncheon being served following the service, so please let your Deacon know if you will be attending that as well. This annual event is a time to see old friends, make new ones, meet your deacons and listen to musicians at the service. The sacrament of communion will be served.

HELP WANTED! Properties Committee needs volunteers to help trim the bushes on the North side of the church.
