   Worship the Lord in holy splendor.

*PROCESSIONAL HYMN # 138                               Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!

*CONFESSION OF WHO WE ARE                                                               Chalice Worship

             We have life, and the power to live it from God.

             Let us acknowledge it and admit our faults.

We fail to live the lives God wants.

We are ungrateful to God and to other people;

     arrogant and self-confident when things go well;

     frightened and despairing when things go wrong.

We forget the goodness of God and the needs of other people.

We are short of love.

(time for silent, personal confession)

Amen.

*ASSURANCE OF WHOSE WE ARE

In Jesus Christ, God knows and receives us as we are.

Listen, give thanks, and live.

    Thanks be to God.

*THE PEACE

The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

               Peace be with you.
