FOR YOUR INFORMATION

TODAY’S CONCERNED DEACON is wearing a yellow carnation, she will be available in the Narthex after worship to hear your concerns.

THE PALMS USED IN THE SERVICE TODAY were ordered by Caring for God’s Creation Team from Eco-Palm Project. As palms mark Jesus’ triumphant entrance into Jerusalem, these symbolic fronds also are waving in a new era for communities in Guatemala and Mexico that are taking part in this project sponsored by the Presbyterian Church USA.  Eco-Palm Project, a new component of the PC (USA)’s Enough for Everyone program, is paving the way for increased wages and a better protected ecosystem for the communities that harvest palms, widely used by Christian congregations on Palm Sunday.

NO ADULT FORUM NEXT WEEK. On April 15 Rev. Jonathan Siehl will share his understanding of the history and significance of the Taize community of France and how we can apply their unique forms of worship.
