STEPHEN MINISTERS CARE. When was the last time someone really listened?

We’re talking about that undistracted, full attention kind of listening. That’s one of the ways Stephen Ministers care for others. We need more Stephen Ministers to care for those who are making that long journey through the valley of a life crisis. Will you consider serving in this way? For more information, please contact Jon Siehl (261-1040).

FOURTH NIGHT TAIZE SERVICE is next Sunday, September 23 in the Parlor beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Faith & Fiction Book Group meets at 7:00 p.m. in the Library and this month will discuss The Other Side of the Bridge by Mary Lawson. This book is a mesmerizing novel of jealousy, rivalry and the dangerous power of obsession set in

the small town of Struan, Ontario, Canada. It is also about the ties of community and relationships. The Book Group read Crown Lake by the same author. Anyone is welcome

to join the discussion.

While here she will also appear on "Open Line with Fred Anderle" Tuesday September 18 th at 10:00 a.m. If you would like to car pool to this event, please contact Deb.
