SUE MOONEY GALA. We are pleased and rejoice that Sue Mooney is being honored by the General Assembly for her tireless work in health ministry. She has spent countless hours assisting us by counseling, taking blood pressures, arranging diabetes screenings and blood drives, working on the Wellness Committee, locating needed hospital equipment for our homes, finding places for us to stay following hospital stays, visiting us… I could go on and on. Now we have the opportunity to honor Sue and celebrate her many contributions. Session is arranging for a reception to be held in Sue’s honor following the awarding of the Elise Woodward Stutzer Award on Sunday, August 24. If you would like to make a donation for the reception, please send your check or drop it in the offering plate. Be sure to mark your check “Sue Mooney Gala”.
