TODAY’S CONCERNED
DEACON is Mary Rees. Wearing a yellow carnation, she’s in the Narthex after
worship to hear concerns.
JOYTIME TODAY is
the responsibility of Session and next week the Finance Committee is
responsible. Packets are inside Room 101 and should be picked up prior to your
week so that you can familiarize yourselves with the lesson. We ask that each
committee provide a small snack. Drinks are available in the Parlor kitchen.
SUMMER BIBLE STUDY of selected New Testament books continues
today at 10:45 a.m. right after worship. We meet in the South Parlor for one
hour on Sundays until sometime in August.
LISTENING ELDER FOR JUNE will be available for listening in the Narthex today.
Feel welcome to convey to him any matter in our congregation’s life that you
would like to have passed on to the Session.

THANK YOU FOR VOLUNTEERING. On Sunday, August 24,

"bruncheon" at Overbrook at 10:30. At this time we have enough
volunteers signed up to help.
VALUABLE, LOVED & USED BOOKS - Friends of Overbrook Library invite you to stop by the
library to look over our current collection. If you find a book you have
enjoyed reading and find valuable – or if you think has particular value for
the church, leave a note in Deb Bowsher’s mailbox. We’re working to improve the
collection and need your advice.
