Plants can be taken from the Sanctuary after the 6:30 p.m. Christmas Eve Service.

A FRIENDSHIP CHRISTMAS BEGINS TODAY! BLUE CHRISTMAS

Christmas can be a painful time for some. It may be the first Christmas without a loved family member or friend. The loss may be a job or a home. For some it may be a time that has always been difficult.

Overbrook’s Stephen Ministry is planning a “Blue Christmas” Service for all who seek solace and comfort. Join us on Saturday, December 20, at 3:30 p.m. in the church parlor. This short service will be followed by a time to share light refreshments.

All are welcome. Bring a neighbor, friend, family member, or co-worker to find the Light That Was Given to All.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

The Session calls a Special Meeting of the Congregation for Sunday, December 14, 2008 in the sanctuary immediately following the morning service of worship; for the purposes of completing election of Elders and Deacons and of electing members of an Associate Pastor Nominating Committee.
