*CALL TO WORSHIP from Psalm 145
Great is God and greatly to be praised.
God’s
greatness is unsearchable.
God’s awesome deeds shall be proclaimed forever.
We
celebrate God’s abundant goodness
and sing aloud of God’s righteousness.

*HYMN # 281 Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah
*CONFESSION OF WHO WE ARE from Call to Worship
Loving God, you know our weakness.
Fearful of the future, we forget what you have done for
us in the past.
We see scarcity where you supply abundance.
We complain when conditions challenge us.
We begrudge others their success, allow envy to divide
us,
and live lives unworthy of the gospel.
Generous God, forgive us…again
and still.
Help us remember your wonderful works,
trust your generous
provisions, seek your presence,
and strive, side-by-side with
others, to serve you well.
(time
for silent, personal confession) Amen.
*ASSURANCE OF WHOSE WE ARE & THE PEACE
God
is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.
God does not deal with us according to our sins,
nor repay us according to our wrongs.
The
peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
Peace be with you.
(worshipers exchange gestures and words of the peace of Christ)
