YOUTH FELLOWSHIP TONIGHT (Grades 6 – 12) Meet at 5:45 in Room 33 to make final plans for Youth Mission Trip. It is important that everyone going on the trip to be there.

WE SERVE YWCA FAMILY CENTER – Sunday, June 14. Sign-up sheets to bring food or serve dinner are posted on the wall across from the Parlor.

DONUTS WITH DAD – Calling Fathers and Children! Join Christian Education Committee for Donuts with Dad on Sunday, June 21, at 9 a.m. in the Parlor. There will be donuts, fruit, and beverages in your honor.

COMMUNITY GARDEN PROJECT. Work continues at the Community Garden sponsored by Old First Presbyterian Church. Work sessions are held Saturday morning and Wednesday evenings. Lettuces and snap peas are being harvested, and tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, broccoli, and many veggies are growing. Everyone is welcome to help plant, water, weed, and harvest on any Saturday or Wednesday. If you would like to go as part of a “group”, on the third Saturday of each month, we will carpool to the garden to work in the morning. Meet in the church parking lot at 9:45 a.m., June 20 and we’ll head to the garden as a group. You will probably bring home some fresh, organic veggies at the end of the day.

WE LEARN

SUMMER BIBLE STUDY SCHEDULED! Cheryl Hubbard has again graciously offered to lead a summer Bible study on various Psalms “Singing God’s Praises”. Classes begin right after worship at 10:45 a.m. June 21 – August 23 in the South Parlor.

LAST CHANCE FOR GRADUATES! Sign-up in the office if you or someone in your family is graduating. We recognize graduates Sunday, June 14.

MEN’S BREAKFAST GROUP meets Wednesday, June 3, 7:30 a.m. at Tee Jays Country Place (Morse & High). All men are welcome.

VBS MEETING SUNDAY, JUNE 14 in the South Parlor after worship: to conclude details, provide teacher guides and plan decorating to be done on Saturday, June 20, 9:00 a.m. We still need volunteers to help with VBS. If you can’t help with VBS, you can tell friends, put flyers in places you shop, up or e-mails to your friends. That’s a big help! We have 21 registrations. Keep them coming!

IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!!! For Fun Band at Overbrook! We are looking for anyone who has ever played or currently plays an instrument. We have instruments to loan! We rehearse for three weeks and then play for Sunday service. Rehearsals are Sunday, June 14, at 11:30-12:30; June 21, from 10:30 – 11:30; and June 28, from 10:30 – 11:30. We play to lead worship on Sunday, July 5. If you have questions, ask Sarah Shaffer. Get those lips in shape to play. See you June 14 in Fellowship Hall.
