LISTENING ELDER FOR JUNE is Pat Soderholm. She will be in the Narthex following the service today to hear any matter you would like Session to consider.

 

BOOK FAIR TODAY – Before and after worship you can peruse and select books to have for your very own from those that are being permanently removed from our library collection. We hope you will make a free will offering for your new books so that the library can be maintained and a few new materials added.

 

COOKIES ARE NEEDED!!! Overbrook provides lunches for homeless men all year long the first and fifth Mondays. We provide sandwiches, chips, cookies and drink for 150 lunches. With 3 cookies per bag that equates to 450 cookies needed each month or more if there are 5 Mondays. Help keep the freezer full by baking a couple dozen cookies.

 

WE LEARN

 

JOY TIME BEGINS TODAY. Following the Moment with the Young, children are escorted to Room 101 for Joytime. The Personnel Committee is responsible for leading the class this week and providing a snack.

 

SUMMER BIBLE STUDY BEGINS TODAY! Cheryl Hubbard has again graciously offered to lead a summer bible study on various Psalms “Singing God’s Praises”. Classes begin right after worship at 10:45 a.m. and run through August 23 in the South Parlor.

 

WE GATHER

 

FUN BAND REHEARSAL TODAY - 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. We rehearse again June 28, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. We play to lead worship on Sunday, July 5. If you have questions, ask Sarah Shaffer.

 

NEW BEGINNINGS – a group for all singles, meets off-site today as the Parlor will be transformed for VBS into a campground.

 

MEN’S BREAKFAST GROUP meets Wednesday, June 24 at 7:30 a.m. at Tee Jays Country Place (Morse & High). All men are welcome.

 

TRINITY LUNCHES next Sunday, June 28, is the responsibility of Fellowship & Finance Committees. Meet downstairs following worship to prepare sandwiches, bag cookies and pack sacks.

 

COME CAMP WITH US at Overbrook’s campground, Camp Edge, June 22-26 - 6:00 – 8:15 p.m. We welcome your children, grandchildren neighbors, and friends. Registrations are still being taken and we except walk-ins. Lots of fun, music, science, & crafts await you.

 

YANKEE DOODLE PICNIC – Join the Fellowship Committee in celebrating Independence Day with a picnic on July 4th. We gather at 6 p.m. for a potluck dinner. Hotdogs and ice cream are provided. Bring a dish to share. There are crafts, games for kids and door prizes to be won. After dinner enjoy the Whetstone fireworks.
