Director of Nutrition and Diabetes, leads a free “tasting” cooking class
(limited to 30 would-be chefs!). Sign
up in the office. Prior to class
participants will be served chili, tossed salad, corn bread and a dessert
cookie beginning at 5:30 p.m. Come for healthy
supper and stay to learn to cook healthy!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL is just 22 days away! CAMP E.D.G.E is
gearing up for a week of fun! Tell friends about VBS! Benefits of VBS are: Fun, Food, Music,
Games and God! June 22-26 - 6:00 to 8:15 p.m. We need the congregation to help with the following: Registration
table on Monday night; Recreation Leader in charge of games; Helpers to assist teachers.

WE GATHER
FELLOWSHIP LUNCHEON – THURSDAY,
JUNE 4th, 12 noon in the
Parlor is hosted by Women’s Bible Study group. Join in an afternoon of
fellowship and a presentation of ragtime music by Nancy Deeth and Sarah
Shaffer. Price for this fun is one delicious sandwich to share (any kind
from PB&J to BLT, wraps to croissants, etc.). Salad, dessert and beverage
are provided. Sign-up on the sheet
posted in the office.
SUNDAY SCHOOL ENDS – JUNE 7. During the 10:30 a.m. worship service we
recognize our teachers. Children stay in Sanctuary for worship June 14. Joytime
begins June 21 following Moment with the Young at 9:45 a.m. in Room 101.
STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL & ICE CREAM SOCIAL - Sunday,
June 7 at 12 noon in Fellowship Hall.
Menu is picnic fare—sloppy joes, baked beans, chips, relish tray &
strawberries, ice cream & cake. Sign-up in the office to bring a cake, or call 261-1040, or email

DONUTS WITH DAD – Calling Fathers and Children! Join
Christian Education Committee for Donuts with Dad on Sunday, June 21, at 9 a.m.
in the Parlor. There will be donuts, fruit, and beverages in your honor.
CALLING ALL GRADUATES! If you or some one in your family is graduating from a school,

Westminster on Higgins Lake in Roscommon, Michigan to prepare the grounds for
arrival of summer campers from urban Detroit.
