"UNITY"

The Overbrook Presbyterian Church stewardship “giving” campaign for the year 2012 is underway.  Your participation in church leadership, volunteering, mission, and financial support is even more important for continuity in the church.  We must be united as one church "...So that there should be no divisions in this body but that its parts should have equal concern for each other." (1 Cor. 12:25).

We all need to come together to support Overbrook in this time.  A strong, unified transition period allows us to continue to offer spiritual nourishment, mission services to our members, our community, and the world.  It also will place us in a superior position to find and to attract a new Pastor to lead us into the future.

The importance of estimating your level of giving cannot be overstated and allows the church to plan an operating budget for the Ministry and Mission activities in 2012.  Commitments of time and talent to church leadership, volunteer, and participation roles put those plans into ACTION.  We ask you to reflect upon the vows of membership made when joining to support the church in every way.  We find guidance through God’s Word "Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose." (Phil. 2:2).

Below is a link for estimating your financial support of the OPC Operating Budget in 2012.  Please prayerfully complete, print a copy for your records and submit the form by or on Sunday, November 13th.
