Overbrook Presbyterian Church proudly introduces Steve Bennett as its Contemporary Worship Leader.  Steve brings a world of ministry to our congregation, having served in churches throughout Northern Europe and the United States.

Born in Somerset, England he joined the Christian Drama Ministry at age 17 and traveled widely with that group.  He came to the US, joined the seminary and became pastor at Christ The King in Cleveland, where he served for 17 years culminating with a 3 year world tour of contemporary worship.

Returning to Ohio, Bennett became Senior Pastor at Zion Christian Fellowship in Columbus.  Reaching out to the Columbus community, Steve started his own business, Compass Business Group, counseling small companies to build their own cultures and moral values from within.

Overbrook's Contemporary Services welcome over 75 attendees each week with many new families enjoying the music and informal worship.  Services begin at 10:00 every Sunday morning and all are welcome.  In his travels around the world, Steve has found that people everywhere want to have fun with worship.  He is bringing that vision to Overbrook Presbyterian Church.
